Today is the day!!

Stampin' Up has never, ever puts stamp sets on sale, but guess what? Today will change all that. The company wants to sell more stamps today than any other day in their history to celebrate their weeklong celebration of Digital Scrapbooking Day (Oct. 29 - Nov. 5).

For TODAY ONLY, get 15% OFF every stamp set you order (excluding hostess sets, bundles and digital stamp brush sets). This is such a steal for the quality, cute designs SU offers! Remember, as I mentioned on Thursday, I'm in a contest and want to sell at least 40 stamp sets (this includes single stamps and stamp sets) to earn some free products from the upcoming Spring Ocassions Catalog that I'll be able to use to show you in my classes and events in January. If I reach my goal, there will be a prize or two for some lucky customers!

Are you coming to Card Class on Tuesday, Oct. 30? Why not place your order with me today? You'll save money, cover your minimum order ($25) to earn your card class for free and help me at the same time! It's a win-win all around!

Are you long distance? Place an online order and I'll send you an extra-special thank you card in the mail. Today is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to see how many of you take advantage of this extremely rare event!

On another note, as part of the week-long celebration of Digital Scrapbooking Day, Stampin'Up is also offering three free digital downloads this week and 50% off all digital kits! Hello, there! I thought I'd pop in again today to share a couple of projects I made for a recent private class.

The card is actually straight out of the Stampin' Success magazine that demonstrators get every other month. Isn't it so cute? It's soooo simple, too. It uses the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack from the Holiday Catalog. There's 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs) at the perfect cardmaker's size 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" (great for photo mats, too!).

The little tag uses the Two Tags die for the Big Shot. It is a fantastic project to whip up some adorable gift tags for the holiday season. I also used the core'dinations cardstock in the Stampin' Up exclusive color: Early Espresso. I embossed it with my Big Shot and then sanded it with the Stampin' Sanding System.

I have a private class next month featuring all tags so I'm really excited to make some more holiday tags -- For whatever reason, lately the smaller the canvas the more inspired I am!

What are you inspired to make lately?

Until next time...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I had such a great day yesterday. It was my annual hostess appreciation day -- but this year I called it my Hilton Head Appreciation event as the support of all my customers allowed me to take a FREE trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina in September!

I had so much fun spoiling all my hostesses and downline members. It was exhausting, but so worth it! I had displays of all my card swaps from Convention, Regional and the organized Hilton Head swap that I participated in.

There were balloons to pop for any orders (they were not required to order anything, though!) -- inside the balloon were coupons for things like free shipping, a free ink pad or no sales tax. These delicious chocolate covered pretzels decorated with the Friendship Preserved stamp set were the gift that I made for each attendee and we had Beautiful Booking Boxes (I feel like that should be part of the Berenstain Bears "B" book -- did you ever read that as a kid?? I digress...) for anyone who wanted to host a private class of their own. These were one of the box styles I created, but I forgot to take a picture of the other one before the girls scooped them up!

Inside the boxes were a little embellishment of some sort they got to take with them and then a coupon for a bigger gift they can redeem at their party -- free stamp set, big shot item, DSP, etc.

We also had a fun make and take. My theme as you can see was fall - so I thought a great "thankful" project would be a gratitude mini album. A few months ago in the Stampin' Success magazine that Stampin' Up sends to its demonstrators there was a travel mini album made out of kraft envelopes. I thought it was so cute (and clever) that I created my own, but turned it into a gratitude album. I want to do another one of these, too, but make it a Christmas album - won't that be fun? I'm going to teach it at the Crazy for Croppin' event in Hyannis the first weekend of November... that will be fun! Here is the gratitude album the girls got to make:

It's made with four envelopes. I tore off the flap on each one and inserted a piece of vanilla cardstock inside the envelope for journaling or pictures. Each little ribbon was attached to one of those journaling/picture cards.

The front of the journal and the booking boxes feature the "Wonderfall" stamp set from the Holiday catalog. I also used the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die for the Big Shot, which are also from the Holiday catalog. All super fun toys!

Here are a couple more pages from the album:

I'll show you one more thing from my Hilton Head Appreciation event... this was the invitation I made with My Digital Studio and sent to 50 of my hostesses, downline members and VIP customers:

Well that is it for me today... thanks for stopping in and run on over to my website if you want to score some of these products for yourself. Oh, and the Clearance Rack on the website has been updated with 70 new items so you'll want to act fast on those, too!

Until next time...

Hello. Happy Rainy Tuesday. I was fortunate that I didn't have to go to work today so it was a pajamas and crafting kind of day. : )

This card is actually another one from my card class last month. We make 10 cards (two each of five designs) for just $18 or free with a minimum order. Anyway, the September class was the second of our four class series. There's still time to join us this month if you'd like. Our next class is at the Chatham Community Center on Tuesday, October 30 at 6 p.m. E-mail me if you'd like to go.

Back to the card again -- boy, I'm easily side tracked today, huh? It features the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. Do you know this is the best selling stamp set Stampin' Up has? It's also the longest running I believe. Honestly, it really is a beautiful set -- it makes very pretty cards and not just for the holidays. I've used it to make masculine cards as well -- which is always tricky for me, but not with this set. It's just an elegant stamp set that really lends itself well to all different styles of cards from bright and cheery to muted and elegant. Try it out!

Well, despite having the day off, I don't feel like I accomplished even half of what I wanted to today so I'm going to sign off now and get to work. I've got some great new offerings I'm working on -- I just have to get them finalized so I can tell you all about them!

Have a great week...

Two done... two to go!

It's funny because I can't believe it is already October and yet in the same sentence I want to say how can it only be October? I've already designed 10 different holiday cards for this year's Christmas Card sessions (five in August and five in September). Even with that said, I have 10 more designs headed your way -- five more on the last Tuesday of October and then five more designs in November, too! For my customers that attend all four sessions, they will have made 40 cards by December 1! How's that for being ahead of the game?

Would you like to see a couple of designs from my last class? I figured I would show you at least two since I've been MIA recently. Sound fair? Here's the first design I came up with for the September class:

I like to have at least one "non-traditional" colors for the holiday. This one uses Pool Party and Island Indigo. I think they are the perfect colors for snowflakes. The stamp set is Snowflake Soiree from the Holiday catalog and I absolutely love it because it's one of those stamp sets you just can't go wrong with -- especially went you create your own patterned paper like I did here.

This is another design we made at my last card class:

This one uses fun Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The coloring is a little off in the picture, but it is a great "traditional" option for the holidays. This stamp set is called Scentsational Seasons and is perfect with scented embossing powders. I also wanted to show you this card today because it shows off the holiday paper piercing pack from the Holiday catalog. You can get the festive paper piercing pack for free when you purchase the Ornament Keepsakes bundle (the ornament keepsakes stamp set and the Candlelight Designer Series paper). How cool is that?

Well, I'm off to try and find my stamp room under all of this paper and stamps. Somehow I've had a small tornado roll through my room....

If you'd like to order any of the products I used in my projects please visit my online store anytime day or night!
