Fall for Holiday Countdown #11: Did Someone Say Pizza?

It’s day #11! Can you believe it? I’m a bit late again today, but we had a Creative Escape planning meeting tonight! Yay! And between writing press releases for the Symphony this morning and designing potential make and takes and pillow gifts for Creative Escape this afternoon, I just plain ran out of time to get this project finished and emailed out! But here I am, for the 11th project featuring new product from the brand new Stampin’ Up holiday catalog released on September 1. You can shop the new goodies in my online store HERE or view it in a PDF format HERE. Okay, let’s talk about today’s project. It’s actually a continuation of yesterday’s project(s) in that it still uses primarily the same products from the “You Can Make It” box on page 4 of the Holiday catalog, except that I added the adorable little pizza boxes to the mix. Here’s a sneak peek of my project: I envision this being the perfect little hostess gift — maybe for Thanksgiving as then they’d have the whole holiday season to use the Christmas themed cards? But you could easily change up the paper and theme so you could gift

Fall for Holiday Countdown Day #5: Pumpkin Cocoa Pouch

Welcome back for day #5 of my Fall for Holiday Countdown – where I’m counting down some fun, fall projects featuring new product from the Stampin’ Up holiday catalog that was released on September 1. You can view the products online HERE or download a PDF copy of the catalog to look at HERE. Are you ready for the fifth project? I had a very specific mission in mind with this one. I’ve been hunting around for a fall-themed cocoa flavor and finally found a Pumpkin Spice flavored hot cocoa at Target yesterday. I wanted something that wasn’t too big and bulky to mail, but that would make a fun little treat for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers. Don’t know what Paper Pumpkin is? It’s a fun monthly crafting subscription that includes all the supplies you need to make 6 to 10 adorable projects – cut, prepped and ready for you to stamp and assemble. Best part is you get mini ink pads and an exclusive stamp set with each new kit! It’s a great way to either start crafting or to build your stash in an inexpensive way. As a bonus, if you join by September 10, you can save

Fall for Holiday Catalog Countdown Day #3: Halloween Treat Bag

It’s day three of my Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog countdown and today I have a fun little treat bag to share with you. In my neck of the woods (Cape Cod, MA), it’s the perfect crafting weather today… overcast, dreary and rainy. So I’ll be hitting the craft table again later today to get ahead on a few Countdown posts for the week. I’ve got a lot of events coming up for the fall season so time to get to work! But today, I’m focusing on the little “goblins” that may have in your life. They will love this little treat bag. Well, really, anyone with a sweet tooth (I’m raising my hand) will love this project. Of course all the pumpkin paraphernalia is alive in well in the stores already so I grabbed a bucket of pumpkin gum drops at the Christmas Tree Shop the other day. I thought they would look adorable in the Stampin’ Up 3 x 6 gusseted bags… and they do, don’t you think? It was easier to showcase this one via video so you can see that below (and you seemed disappointed yesterday when I didn’t have one! I do aim to please so

Stampin’ Up Artisan Award: 3D item

Hi There Stampers! Welcome to the weekend…. I love Fridays. I’m actually at another Scrap-A-Way Retreat this weekend. Having fun with all sorts of fun Halloween costumes for the Halloween Spook-tacular theme. Anyway, while I have a minute as they play some games I thought I’d share another Artisan Award project. As a reminder, some of the products on these projects may not be available anymore as these were made with the old book. The idea for this project actually came to me while strolling the aisles of my local craft store. They were having a sale on these little 4 X 4 canvases at the time and I had been thinking about doing a 12 X 12 canvas for one of my projects anyway. Stampin’ Up’s “tagline” is Inspire. Create. Share. So I made one canvas/flower for each of those words. I used the Big Shot, some fabric, bits of cardboard, packing paper from the SU boxes and ribbon to layer my flowers. I then spritzed the canvases with different colors (Pool Party, Certainly Celery — which is now retired and Pretty In Pink – also retired). I glued the flowers to the canvases with a hot glue gun and
