Something BIG is coming!

I’ve just arrived back from Salt Lake City for the Stampin’ Up convention called OnStage. I always love going to SLC, as it feels sort of like a “home away from home” after going to nearly 10 events there. It’s such a beautiful city and it made it even more fun that I got to see the upcoming Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs AND share it with one of my Shore Stamper team members, Donna (hi Donna!)! More info about those catalogs as we get closer (they don’t go live until January), but we also got word about another exciting development…. the Stamparatus! What is the Stamparatus you ask? It’s only going to be the BEST stamp positioning tool on the market! Check out this video to learn more about it: Pretty amazing, right? Since Stampin’ Up does 2-step, 3-step and 4-step stamp sets so, so well, this tool is going to be so amazing in your craft room! I promise… you’re going to *need* this! Here are some of the features of the tool: Compatible with Stampin’ Up!’s red rubber and photopolymer stamp Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring 2 open sides so

Whew…. what a weekend!

I am pretty much on cloud nine this week (even though I’m dragging a little bit, still!). It was such a wonderful weekend at my 7th (!) Cape Cod Creative Escape event. As always, my amazing helpers (Sherry, Anna, Linda, Jackie & Heather) helped me pull off an amazing weekend of fun. I thought I’d share some of the highlights here with you today… for those of you that weren’t able to join us… maybe it will help entice you to join us in November — from Nov. 16-19 at the Four Points Sheraton in Eastham. Registration for the fall event will begin August 1st. So be sure to join my mailing list if you want to be in the loop on that. Each event has a “theme” and for this one it was “carnival.” So we tried to make everything match that theme… here were the centerpieces that my niece put together using some carnival tickets and some fun photo props (which we encouraged the attendees to use in their photos throughout the weekend): This was the registration table centerpiece and a bunch of the “welcome” gifts everyone received. This was a picture of one of the table centerpieces

That’s A Wrap… Cape Cod Creative Escape 2016

Phew! What an amazing (albeit tiring!) weekend. I held my sixth Cape Cod Creative Escape crafting retreat this past weekend and it was a fantastically fun time! We had lots of new friends join us this year so that was super exciting. Everyone seemed to have a great time so I thought I’d share some highlights with you. Many folks arrive on Thursday night (especially those that were traveling far from home — we had New York and Connecticut in the house!). So everyone gets settled in their space and set up for four days of focused creativity. This was the room at the height of the weekend — jammed packed with any possible tool you could think of! These girls are serious! We had a full house with 60 ladies joining us. We started by giving the attendees a welcome gift made out of the Stampin’ Up Glassine bags, embossed with the Cable Knit sweater embossing folder. Then tied with ribbon and stamped with the adorable reindeer from the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle. This little cutie was designed by our endlessly crafty team member Linda Johnson. Here you can see the whole lot of them at the registration table

Phew… Another Cape Cod Creative Escape in the Books!

Hello there! It’s Wednesday and we just wrapped up the fourth (!) Cape Cod Creative Escape this past weekend. I think three days later, I’ve finally recovered! I never got a real good shot of our room with everyone in it… but imagine this little ballroom filled to the max with creativity and a bunch of super creative women… yup, that about sums up my weekend. We had a great time — 60 attendees, and loads of helpers. We had a “Home for the Holidays” theme this year complete with presents under the tree, Christmas music and a big Gift Giveaway to wrap it all up. Here are a few highlights from the weekend. This was how the table looked when they arrived… one of the perks of Cape Cod Creative Escape is a goody bag filled with $50 worth of brand new Stampin’ Up product. Since we had a “Home for the Holidays” theme we decided to wrap each one of those goody bag items and put it under the tree! So fun to see all the wide-eyed faces as they arrived 🙂 This was the Gift Giveaway/Prize Patrol tree. Each time I called someone’s name they got to

Big News! Creative Escape SPRING Edition is open for Registration

Hello there… and happy snow day (again!) for those of you in the Northeast. The snow isn’t getting me down today, though, because I’m thinking SPRING today — as in: Cape Cod Creative Escape SPRING edition! I’ve hosted two of these events in November now and I am super excited to be offering this fun, four-day crafting escape in the SPRING this year. (Can you tell I’m excited for SPRING??) So, what is the Cape Cod Creative Escape? Well, about 50 of us take over the Four Point Sheraton in Hyannis for four days (Thursday, April 16 – Sunday, April 19) and we craft our little hearts out! You bring some crafty projects you have on your “to-do” list and have over 40 hours of uninterrupted time to work on them — whether that’s scrapbooking, card making, sewing – whatever makes you happy! Then, I provide you with five FREE Take and Makes (I’m switching up how these will operate a bit from the previous two events — that’s why they’re called Take and Makes and not Make and Takes!), lots of prizes, optional add-on classes and SIX pillow gifts. Let’s just say I like to spoil you! Plus, the
